Tiefling
Tieflings are mortals marked by infernal heritage-descendants of a long-forgotten pact with the ruler of the Nine Hells. Though they walk among other ancestries, their horns, tails, and glowing eyes make them unmistakable, and their presence often invites fear, suspicion, or worse.
Yet beneath the fiendish exterior lies a will forged in hardship. Tieflings are survivors, self-made and fiercely independent. They carry the weight of their bloodline with pride or bitterness-but always on their own terms.

Infernal Bloodline
To be a tiefling is to be marked. Stares, whispers, insults, and suspicion follow them wherever they go-punishment not for their own actions, but for a pact made generations ago. The blood of Levona, overlord of the Nine Hells, runs in their veins, warping flesh and fate alike. Though they bear no personal guilt, tieflings live under the shadow of an ancient sin for which the world refuses to forgive them.
Tieflings are descended from human bloodlines, and broadly still resemble humans. Yet their infernal heritage has etched its signature into their forms. Great horns curve from their skulls-ram-like, spiraled, or tall and straight. A thick, muscular tail coils and lashes with their emotions, and sharp canines hint at their predatory ancestry. Their eyes burn with solid colors-black, red, silver, gold, or white-lacking pupil or sclera. Their skin ranges from natural human tones to deep reds, and their hair often comes in dark, unnatural shades like crimson, violet, or midnight blue.
Hardened by Circumstance
Tieflings are rarely numerous, most often found scattered among human populations-frequently in the poorest, most dangerous quarters of cities where few others dare to live. Many are drawn into underworld professions: thieves, swindlers, and sometimes crime lords, driven there by need or by the harsh judgment of those around them. Others find refuge in enclaves alongside other minority groups who offer tolerance, if not acceptance.
Without a homeland to call their own, tieflings learn early that survival means self-reliance. They are slow to trust, quick to defend, and always watchful of betrayal. But when trust is earned, tieflings repay it with unshakable loyalty. Once bonded, they stand beside their allies through fire and blood-unyielding, defiant, and fiercely proud of who they are.
